Such a fantastic collection of work emerged from today's workshop!
We had a busy day working with the watercolour process - loose and wet layers onto which we built detail as the paper dried. All through the layering we thought about any lighter shapes that could be 'revealed' by painting a darker tone around them. Our subject was winter foliage in jam jars! It was a lovely calm day before the Christmas rush.
These workshops are always 'open' which means people are free to bring projects from home that they wish to work on.
Thank you everyone for all my lovely Christmas cards! I hope you all have very happy celebrations.
